The Dance
This morning, this sweet little boy asked me to listen to some primary songs. I turned on our itunes and watched him listening so sweetly, "yeah, mom! I like this song! I know it!" He came and rested his little head in my lap. I picked him up and together we danced in the kitchen. His little hand in mine, his head resting on my shoulder as we spun around and around listening to songs testifying of Christ. I wanted so badly to slow down time and permanently cement the moment in my mind forever. My mind raced back to dancing with Jaron in this same kitchen when he was an infant. Now he is too big for me to hold and spin around. Where did time go?
My sweet little Carson is so eager to grow, ("I bigger, bigger, bigger, right mom?!?" he asks me each morning) and catch up with his brothers, but his mom knows that will come too quickly. For now, I will try harder to hold onto my sweet little boy . . . and take more time to dance together.

what a sweet post. I know how you feel. I don't even attempt to try to pick up Chelsea now. However, it is nice that she can clean the kitchen all by herself now. :)
